1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?

When you enroll as a Candidate for Ordination on our site, as part of the sign-up and registration process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address.

Email marketing: we may send you emails about our program, registration, your course progress, the status of your ordination, or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the program, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.

In order to successfully complete the Ordination Program, you must submit to a background check. You will be directed to submit your private information securely directly to the vendor we use to perform the background check, Inflection Risk Solutions, LLC d/b/a GoodHire. We do not store the results of this check or the personal information that you provided to the vendor in our systems. We do check the information that you provide to the vendor, however, to verify that it matches the identity you used to sign up as a candidate.

2. How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to sign up on the website, register as a candidate for ordination, participate in the ordination coursework and program, or purchase items from the Minister Supply Store, you imply that you consent to our collecting that information and using it for that specific reason only. You also imply that we may use your email address to send you critical notifications pertaining to your progress as a candidate, the status of your ordination, or your purchases.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at support@satanicministry.com using the email subject line "Ordination Program Consent".
