Elective Lessons

Welcome to the Elective Lessons of The Satanic Temple Ministry's Ordination Program! If you are an ordained minister of The Satanic Temple, you may use the successful completion of any elective lesson on this page to fulfill your annual renewal requirement under the following conditions:

THESE REQUIREMENTS HAVE CHANGED

  • Every time you renew, you must complete a different elective lesson. Even if the system allows you to register for a previously-completed elective lesson, completing the same lesson again will not fulfill your renewal requirement.

  • You must register for the elective lesson no earlier than 12 weeks prior to your ordination expiration date, and not later than 3 weeks prior to the date your ordination expires. These limits allow your renewal to be completed prior to your expiration date: You have two weeks to complete the lesson, and the Ordination Council has a week to review your essay and LOA.

  • The Ordination Council is extremely flexible about granting extensions and late registrations. However, if possible please contact the Ordination Council before your deadline is missed. This basic courtesy makes all of our tracking and process management easier.
