Become a Satanic Scholar

When The Satanic Temple launched the Online Ordination Program in 2021, we were flooded with requests from members who were either not eligible for or not interested in becoming ordained ministers of Satan, but who nonetheless wanted access to the learning material from the program so that they could deepen their knowledge and understanding of Satanism and The Satanic Temple. We created the Non-Ordination (Coursework Only) program so that all of our members may have an opportunity to benefit from the Satanic curriculum we developed for our ministry.

This program is composed of the nine lessons listed below. Each lesson consists of about one hour of video lecture material followed by a quiz. After you complete the lessons you will be asked to take a final exam. If you achieve a score of 80% correct or higher on each quiz and on the final exam, you have passed the course and are officially recognized as a Satanic Scholar!

If you become eligible for our Online Ordination Program within twelve months of passing the final exam for this program, you will be able to use this course as "credit" toward your ordination and will not be required to take the lessons or the final exam again. You will still need to be recommended for candidacy by an ordained Congregation Head or Campaign Director; however, when registering you will only need to pay the difference between the non-ordination and ordination registration fees ($50).
